Skandia Ideas for Life
Ideas for Life started in 1987 in Sweden and is part of the Skandia
Group. As an active member of the community, Skandia wants to
take responsibility for shaping society.
We help people grow
Ideas for Life works preventively and long-term with activities
for children and youth through important adults e.g. parents and
teachers. This work takes place in close cooperation with municipalities,
schools and organizations. Together we can build a strong and
healthy society for our children.
Support and guidance
The Ideas for Life organization consists of a central unit in
which cooperation projects are directed by a project coordinator.
Skandia offers professional guidance and support, but also financial
support depending on the objective of the project.
Genuine commitment
The business community’s credibility in social issues is
based on a long-term effort and genuine commitment. Awareness
of our responsibility for social development – and the willingness
to accept this responsibility – is deeply rooted in Skandia.
Each month hundreds of Skandia employees devote many working hours
to Ideas for Life activities for children and young people. Their
dedication is essential and of central importance.
