The long-term savings market is an increasingly global one, but despite this, local presence and proximity to the customer continues to be important for success. Skandia operates with local business, but as a global company benefits from synergies in areas such as fund management, IT and administration.

Skandia is organised into three divisions: UK & International, Europe & Latin America, and Nordic. Business is conducted to a large extent via these geographic units with the aim of sharing knowledge and benefiting from overall economies of scale.
