Previously Skandia sold long-term savings products only in the form of unit-linked assurance. However, our business model also allows us to offer savings products without an insurance element. Through innovatively packaged products primarily designed for long-term savings, Skandia has generated strong growth in its mutual fund business. Today we offer mutual fund savings products in 12 countries.

With Skandia’s mutual fund savings products, customers can choose from a large number of investment alternatives, and as a rule they can make deposits and withdrawals whenever they please. Mutual fund savings products have no insurance element.
