Recruitment Policy
The group's recruitment policy is underpinned by the requirement
to meet its legal and regulatory body obligations in the countries
in which it operates.
This policy requires the principles of the group's equal opportunity
policy to be met in recruitment and selection methodologies. Assessment
for roles should be against objective criteria relevant to the
role in question.
Internal recruitment
Where possible, Skandia tries to fill vacancies through internal
recruitment including cross-business and international transfers.
External recruitment
External recruiting is done in accordance with our equal opportunities
philosophy.
A competency-based selection process takes place, followed by
feedback to all candidates try to ensure the process is of benefit
even to those who are not successful. Where appropriate legally
accepted testing methods will be applied.
This policy applies to both internal and external recruitment.
