Compulsory purchase

Old Mutual has initiated compulsory purchase of the outstanding shares in Skandia. Stefan Kamlin has been appointed as trustee for the minority shareholders. The trustee safeguards the interests of the minority shareholders in the compulsory purchase process.

On 8 February 2007 the arbitral tribunal published an announcement (please see below) regarding the constitution of the arbitral tribunal and who has been appointed to act as chairman.

In connection with this announcement, the trustee sent a letter to the minority shareholders with detailed information.
